Wednesday Night Training / Station Work

June 25

Regular Wednesday training resumed after two evenings of carnival setup. Members returned to the acquired house to maximize training before the scheduled burn class. Crews practiced advancing charged hose lines and deploying ladders. New driver trainees also had the chance to gain valuable pump time.

June 23

Setup continues for the carnival with fire company tents and the stage going up. Cooler 8 is now full and beginning to chill water and soda for the event.
The company expresses its appreciation to, The Bank of Landisburg and Martin's Auto Service for providing the bottled water for the carnival.

One week until opening night of the New Bloomfield Carnival!!! You may have a different
meal each night of the week and support the New Bloomfield Volunteer Fire Company. The
carnival is June 30- July 4, 2026. Fireworks will be July 4, at 10:30. Food and games will be
open when our volunteers get home from work. Rides open at 6 each night. Entertainment
7-10 nightly.

June 22

New Bloomfield Fire Company extends its appreciation to all members, friends of the fire company, Kirby Kitner for transporting the carnival trailer, WP Wrestling, the crew from ROC Cottage at LYDC, and the crew from PCP for their assistance during the first night of carnival setup. The rain moved out allowing for a great turnout, making the setup easy with many helping hands.

Company 8 was dispatched to 550 Sherman's Valley Road in Centre Township for a reported fuel spill. As Engine 8 responded, county dispatch advised that a fuel can had been overturned. Upon arrival, crews found a leaking 4 gallon fuel can, likely fallen from a vehicle.
