Rescue and Tanker 8 were dispatched along with other fire companies from Perry and Juniata counties to assist Millerstown Fire Company with a commercial building fire.

Tanker 8 arrived on the scene and supplied water by dumping a load into a fold a tank. The crew from Rescue 8 assisted with fireground operations.

The tradition that began in 1956 continues as flags are placed on the gravesites of former NBFD members. This act is carried out to honor and show appreciation for the service and dedication these individuals gave to NBFD.

Company 8 was dispatched to an automatic fire alarm at VFW Post 7463. Upon arrival Chief 8 reported nothing evident from all sides. After investigation, it was determined that the alarm was caused by a malfunction. All units were placed available.
Engine 8 and Tanker 8 responded with a total of 9 personnel.
