Rescue 8, EMS 89-2 and CC Medic 1-40 were dispatched for a vehicle accident with a utility pole and wires down. Units arrived on scene to find the driver and passenger out of the vehicle with one lane blocked by a sheared utility pole. EMS checked out occupants and transported two to a local hospital, while Rescue 8's crew checked for hazards. NBFD Fire Police controlled traffic until Perry County DOT took over closing the road.
