It is with heavy hearts that we report the passing of our brother firefighter, Harold Spotts, on 9-7-24. Harold was an active and life member with New Bloomfield Fire Company. He had 74 years of active service, joining in 1950.

Harold wore many hats over the years including: Fire Co President, Secretary, Treasurer, Membership Director, Asst Chief, Driver and helped on the ambulance. Plus, he was on many committees throughout his years.

It takes someone special to stay active for 74 years, given all of the changes he had seen in the company, but he always made an effort to see the good in these.
