The Building committee along with the Fire Officers and members are grateful and very happy to see the rigs finally move into the new station on the evening of January 5th 2024 @ 1932 hours and will start running calls. The 1st Friday of the month is our Fire Company meeting, so it was decided to move the fire apparatus down after the Firemen's Club meeting being held at the old firehouse. Then have a short ceremony and raising of the American flag, and then proceed with the regular fire company meeting in the new station.

The NBFD wants to thank everyone who has helped in any way on this building project. We are very grateful to have the support of our community, our Townships and members. It has been a very long, and at times very overwhelming, process. We will be moving more items to rooms as we go.

This Spring a dedication and open house will take place. But anyone is welcome anytime to stop and take a look around if you want to.
