The Ickesburg area was the bullseye for a storm cell that seemed to stop right over them. While New Bloomfield only received an inch of rain from this storm, Company 3's first due area had reports of over 7 inches in some places.

Boat 8 was dispatched to stand by at the Eschol Church. While en route, they were redirected to the village of Eschol for people possibly trapped in their houses by rising water. Contact was made with Eschol citizens, and the boats were not placed in service. The boat crew then stayed with Company 3's members for any other rescues till the water started to recede.
