Station 8 was dispatched along with Companies from 3 and 2 on a 1st alarm assignment, assisting Newport Fire Co. Chief 10 arrived to find a cabin fully involved.

NBFD members assisted where needed, with Rescue 8 providing extra lighting, and Tanker 8 supplied tank water for fire ground operations. NBFD Fire Police helped with traffic control. ( Photo credits D. Clouser )

Very cold night with temperatures reading -11 in New Bloomfield as members were getings back to station 8.
