After being away for 11 years, past member Mike Barone was on duty as a paramedic with Lifeteam EMS, running calls out of Station 8 this weekend.

Mike was an active junior firefighter along with many other cadets from Carson Long Military Institute back in the day. When the siren would sound, you could watch the cadets run down from CLI racing to the old firehouse on High St.

Mike has been a paramedic for 5 years and is an active firefighter in Swatara Twp Fire Company. This is nice to see an old junior FF keeping active after leaving NBFD. Hopefully we will see you again in New Bloomfield running EMS calls.
