On Thursday May 29th, Abby Reisinger, a past resident of New Bloomfield, was pinned during her graduation ceremony by NBFD Past Chief Mitch Robb.

Abby went through 17 weeks of rigorous fire training at the Grand Rapids Fire Academy starting in February of this year. She now starts 9 weeks of EMT training. After that she will hit the streets!! The Grand Rapid fire department has 234 firefighters in their force. Her graduating class had 16 new members.
