Engine and Tanker 8 were dispatched with other units from Perry and Cumberland County on this 1st alarm day time box. Company 12 arrived to a working fire.
While New Bloomfield units were responding, a rear-end collision between a car and dump truck occurred immediately in front of tanker 8, in the opposite lane. Chief 8 advised engine 8 to take care of the accident as the tanker continued. Engine 8 stopped and checked for any injuries and hazards, all persons were uninjured. Rescue 8 responded to the mva and split crews so engine 8 could continue to the building fire.
Tanker 8 supplied tank water for fire ground operations. Engine 8 arrived later on scene and then was redirected to establish a fill site for tankers.
