| New Bloomfield Fire Company extends its appreciation to all members, friends of the fire company, Kirby Kitner for transporting the carnival trailer, WP Wrestling, the crew from ROC Cottage at LYDC, and the crew from PCP for their assistance during the first night of carnival setup. The rain moved out allowing for a great turnout, making the setup easy with many helping hands.
A successful carnival relies on extensive work behind the scenes. NBFD is grateful to its members, supporters, and local organizations who assist with setup, cleanup, and operating stands throughout the event. The carnival would not be possible without their commitment, as well as the continued support of community patrons each year. Both the work of volunteers and the attendance of visitors are essential to the carnivals existence. Remove one and the carnival would cease to exist.
Currently, only two fire company carnivals remain in Perry County, including NBFD’s event. Those interested in volunteering in any capacity are encouraged to speak with an NBFD member to learn how they can help. Even an hour of volunteer time can allow a member to enjoy the carnival with their family. All offers of assistance are appreciated.
NBFD members will be present at the carnival grounds on Tuesday, the 23rd, starting around 6:00 p.m. Anyone wishing to help is welcome to join in. |
