Station 8 is hosting a structural burn class that includes members from Perry County fire companies 8, 2, 3, 4, 7, 9, 10, and JC 7. Training began this evening with a classroom session focused on several objectives as participants get ready for the upcoming burn day.
A house in the New Bloomfield first due area has been acquired from PPL for training purposes. Over the past few weeks, this property has supported a variety of training scenarios. On July 11, it will be used to train members in live fire conditions.
